On 7 October, stakeholders from the global cotton community will come together to educate target audiences on the many advantages of cotton from its qualities as a natural fiber to the many benefits people obtain from its production, transformation, trade and consumption around the world.
But never forget that World Cotton Day is a day to celebrate the global importance of cotton! As a result, the ICAC is calling on every stakeholder in the global cotton supply chain — governments, national and international associations, NGOs, private sector businesses and individuals — to celebrate World Cotton Day in whatever way they feel is most appropriate.
