The dates for the World Cotton Research Conference-6 (WCRC-6), to be held in Brazil in the city of Goiânia, Goiás, have been revised to May 2-6, 2016. Pre-registration is open since early December 2014 at http://www.wcrc-6.com
. The WCRC-6 will be organized under the auspices of the International Cotton Researchers Association (ICRA), an entity that represents cotton researchers throughout the world. CABI, FAO and CIRAD are sponsoring the Conference, with major support from the ICAC.
Two hundred and thirty eight (238) researchers from 28 countries were already pre-registered for the Conference by June 8, 2015. The WCRC-6 will bring together vast experiences in production systems and latest developments in cotton research. The event program will include six Plenary Sessions, invited speakers, panel discussions and a number of concurrent sessions exploring developments in various disciplines.
