ALIDA Will Meet in Cartagena, Colombia

The Latin American Association for Cotton Research and Development (ALIDA) will hold its 13^th Meeting in Cartagena, Colombia on October 3, 2013. The meeting will continue all day parallel to other sessions of the 72^nd ICAC Plenary Meeting. Spanish-English-Spanish translation will be available, and the meeting is open to all who wish to participate. A number of speakers from Latin American countries and the USA have been invited to present papers.

ALIDA was establish over 25 years ago with a mandate to facilitate communication among cotton researchers in Latin America. The meeting this year is being held during the ICAC Plenary Meeting. Consequently, the issues discussed will not be limited to Latin America alone but will address cotton production research in general.
