The 11th Meeting of the Southern and Eastern African Cotton Forum (SEACF) was held in Nyeri, Kenya

The 11th Meeting of the Southern and Eastern African Cotton Forum (SEACF) was held in Nyeri, Kenya, from 27-29 August 2012. The meeting followed the format of a scientific symposium during which scientists from the region presented country reports and papers on their research results. Delegates from Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, CABI and the ICAC attended the meeting. Dr. Lusike Wasilwa of the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute, Nairobi was elected as chair of SEACF until the next meeting. The next meeting of SEACF will be held in Mozambique in 2014.
